New CPA Firm for 2021-2022 School Year

In addition to looking for a new Assistant Treasurer, we are also in search of a new CPA to conduct our annual audits, beginning next summer for the 2021-2022 school year. Our current CPA firm was obtained through a parent volunteer and provided a STEEP discount. Please refer to the February meeting minutes we sent in preparation for the March 2 meeting for additional details.
As you share a call to action for the assistant treasurer position, please also add the information that we are looking for a new CPA to complete the Unit 5 Music Parents annual audit at a reduced rate or volunteer basis. Questions, inquiries, proposals  can be directed to me at 309-275-5603 or unit5musicparents.com.
Thank you!

SUPPORT CARL’S ICE CREAM on College Avenue

WEEK OF April 20 – 24th

PJHS is sponsoring a Dine to Support Night for Carl’s Ice Cream on College Ave. We were scheduled to have a Dine to Donate Night next week, but in light of the current circumstances I have decided to turn it into a Dine to Support Night. I sent the following message to my band families…..
Please consider ordering carry out from Carl’s Ice Cream located on College Avenue any day next week. They have supported us for many years and this shut down has really hurt their business. Since they have always been there for us, I would like to take this opportunity to help them. If every family could support them by ordering take out from them once next week – that would be great! It would be difficult for them to service all of us on one day, so they have requested that we spread out through the week to make it more convenient for all.
Please consider helping by eating a meal from Carl’s Ice Cream next week! The food and ice cream are delicious!
