Bylaw Changes to Vote on: Oct. 24, 2017

Unit 5 Music Parents – the board has proposed the following changes to our bylaws.  We will vote on this change at the October 24th meeting.  The meeting will be at 6:30 in the Normal Community High School IMC.  Please direct any questions to the president – Amy Randazzo at amycmconsult@aol.com.

Definition of an active parent representative:

Must be present at 75% of the regularly scheduled meetings for the school year.

Representation is determined as assigned parent, the director, or a substitute sent in place of absence

It is imperative that the budget be resolved and the state pay the school districts the money that they are owed — and you can take a moment to let our state representatives know that it is time to take action on the state budget impasse.
